Baldur's Gate doesn't have any cd protection so you can simply copy the cds directly. For general information about copying games look at GENERAL INFOS
NO-CD crack (US)  

- Install the Game - Full Installation, select all options (2.3 Gb).
- Edit BALDUR.INI, using Notepad and exchange the lines containing the CD1, CD2 & CD3 paths with the game directory path (where the game is installed)
- Extract BGCRKR.EXE from the Archive to the game directory.
- Execute it to remove the CD-Check from BGMAIN.EXE
- Play the Game!

- Install the Game - Full Installation, select all options (2.3 Gb).
- Extract BGCRK.EXE from the Archive to the game directory
- Execute it to remove the CD-Check from BGMAIN.EXE.
