Copy the whole cd to a temporary directory
Replace the Terran.exe with the one from the archive, and burn it to a cd
Label the CDROM : SMAC-G1_0Z
Play the game!

It should also work with French and English versions of the game (but the label is different) AND you can also replace the EXE after installing a burned copy without the crack.
